Trogir Church Interiors

Creative fervour mixed with his memories took Vidović to the churches of Trogir as well. He painted them in the same order in which he used to visit them accompanied by barba Santo towards the end of the 19th century. Using visual artistic means he presents the mystical darkness and the solitude of the sacristy of St. John’s (Ivan) Cathedral, the spare architecture of St. Peter’s, the simple beauty of the Lady of Ružarija and the crucifix of St.

Dominik as well as the distinctiveness of the interiors of St. Nikola (Nicholas) and St. Mihovil (Michael).
