Split And Trogir Church Interiors

At the age of almost seventy, Vidović introduced new motifs.

He does not dwell upon the space of his own atelier and flat only, but guided by childhood memories, he started painting the interiors of the churches of Split and Trogir as well. When after many long years it grew ripe in me, only then could I bring to life the indelible impressions of my youth, - this is what the artist wrote around 1945, fully aware of the power of his childhood memories.
