The hallway between the ground-floor and the first floor – introduction into the permanent collection of the Vidović gallery
The visitor is welcomed to the permanent collection of the Vidović Gallery by the bust of Emanuel Vidović placed on the mezzanine floor between the ground and first floors. This space was created by walling up the door leading onto Hrvojeva Street which was not part of the original classicistic building. The bust was made in 1918 by the Split-born artist Ivan Mirković, a student and friend of Emanuel Vidović.
